Frequently Asked Questions :
Can I return plants if they don’t survive?
We guarantee healthy plants at the time of sale. Because survival depends on planting, watering, and site conditions, we can’t replace plants that fail after planting. However, we’re happy to help troubleshoot and suggest solutions.
What does “native” mean?
Native plants are species that occur naturally in our region and have evolved alongside local wildlife. They’re adapted to Ohio’s climate and soil, making them lower maintenance and better for pollinators, birds, and other wildlife.
How should I care for my plants after I buy them?
We provide a care sheet with every purchase. Most natives need less maintenance than typical landscaping plants usually just proper placement, occasional watering in the first year, and seasonal pruning.
Do you only sell plants grown here?
Yes. All our trees, shrubs, and wildflowers are grown locally in Cincinnati from regionally sourced seed or cuttings, so they’re already adapted to our weather and soils.
Are your plants pesticide-free?
Yes. We avoid harmful chemicals that could harm pollinators or soil health. Our growing practices focus on healthy, sustainable soil and pest management.
